It appears that the ESSIDs barney I have been seeing are Kroger trucks. I had noticed that I would pick them up mostly near Kroger stores, but I would see probes all over town.
I have also found that Brentwood, Tn Police dept. is using wireless as well.
One person seems to have a little political commentary on how "americans are stupid".
It also appears that Autozone has an AP in each store.
